Support for local authorities and housing associations

In Scotland there are staff within the local Energy Efficency Advice Centres that provide dedicated energy saving advice and support to local authorities, housing associations and partner organisations.  Our Local Support Teams can work with you in many ways, including:

• Helping you to develop a sustainable energy strategy.
• Identifying funding opportunities and assisting with grant bids.
• Coordinating local and regional energy partnerships.
• Holding briefing sessions for your senior management and elected members.
• Helping you to access the wide range of services offered by the Energy Saving Trust.
• Assist the development of climate change declaration action plans.
• Facilitation of sustainable energy projects.
• Promotion of training on energy awareness for local authorities.
