Climate change: a key priority for local authorities: gives an overview of climate change, why local authorities should get involved and how some are already are tackling climate change.
The Nottingham Call 2006: the first step in demonstrating their commitment to tackling climate change. It will also be useful for those local authorities that have already signed the declaration, as it introduces the Nottingham Declaration Action Pack.
The Welsh Commitment: provides information about resources that will help them meet the Welsh Commitment to climate change.
The local authority energy matrix: should be the third presentation given and should be run as a workshop session where the audience give opinions as to where your local authority is on the matrix, to help build up a picture and demonstrate to them what can be done.
Sustainable energy: What are the benefits? This presentation will give councillors and senior managers an overview of how sustainable energy can contribute to a range of local aims / council services.
