Joining the Green Communities network will cost you nothing, so become a member to help your community energy project to succeed. Membership gives you an opportunity to access the following:
| Advice and Support: Telephone and email support to answer questions, provide impartial and independent advice, look up funding, and help you find projects similar to your own. |

Training: A variety of free training courses specifically designed for people working in the community, who would like to improve their knowledge of energy efficiency and develop successful community energy projects. Training is available on request and there are a range of courses available across the UK.

| Expert Consultancy: The chance to access our free consultancy - experienced professionals that can help you make informed decisions about your project at every stage. Experts can provide up to 3 days worth of support either remotely or through a site visit, providing a project review, short report and recommendations. |
| Annual Conference: A chance to attend our annual conference with high profile speakers and workshops. |
| Funding: Funding advice and access to a comprehensive funding database. |
| Monthly Bulletins: Monthly e-news keeping you up-to-date with the latest news on sustainable energy, community projects, events and funding. |
| Newsletter: Twice yearly Newsletter showcasing all the good work from the network. |
| Community Carbon Footprint Tool: Access to our online community carbon footprint tool. - estimate your community's carbon footprint and update it, as and when your project takes effect. |
| Tools and Resources: access to templates and how-to guides providing step by step guidance on how to reduce your communities carbon footprint and deliver local energy projects. |
| Community Projects: access to case studies and the Green Communities projects database containing information and advice on member's projects. Also an opportunity for you to share your project with others. |
| Local Support: The opportunity to bid for hands-on support from your local advice centre to help you deliver an energy project and plan to reduce your carbon footprint. |
| Green Community Heroes: The opportunity to enter your community for one of our Green Communities recognition awards in partnership with the Guardian newspaper. |
